BARCELONA (Reuters) – German automotive maker Volkswagen plans to supply 3 million small electrical automobiles in its two crops in Spain between 2025 and 2030, Wayne Griffiths, the chairman of VW’s Spanish unit SEAT, stated on Wednesday.

The German automotive maker is pushing the electrification of its automobiles and plans to construct a battery plant in Spain.

Griffiths stated SEAT goals to assemble 500,000 electrical automobiles a 12 months within the mid-term at SEAT’s plant in Martorell, outdoors Barcelona.

Sustaining the payroll on the plant is SEAT’s precedence, he added.
