P.E.I. Summerside Western Capitals transfer into first-place tie with Edmundston

AMHERST, N.S. — The Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals moved right into a first-place tie within the Eastlink North Division of the Maritime Junior Hockey League on Feb. 2.

The Caps recorded a 5-1 highway victory over the Amherst Ramblers to enhance to 24-10-1-0. The Caps and Edmundston Blizzard (24-12-0-1) every have 49 factors, two greater than the third-place Campbellton Tigers (21-12-4-1).
