Maple Leafs lose goalie Ilya Samsonov in second interval towards Panthers


The Maple Leafs misplaced No. 1 netminder Ilya Samsonov on Sunday evening.

On the 37-second mark of the second interval of Sport 3 towards the Florida Panthers, Leafs defenceman Luke Schenn fell and slid into Samsonov, catching the goalie within the higher physique space.

Samsonov, who was on his knees making a save, appeared to bear the brunt of the collision along with his head and left shoulder.
